Yes, yes, I know it’s beautiful. Thanks to our friends at Ardent Creative for producing something so sleek and professional– the new CSD logo.
Let me get into the process of what it took to select the logo for a sec. First of all, CSD is known for its impeccable shadowboxes. Numbers don’t lie; the most popular blog written to date was dedicated to our guitar shadowboxes, and I can definitely see the appeal. As you can see, the box has a cool 3-D effect which isn’t only hip but looks like a shadowbox. The new CSD logo depicts what we do best.
Let’s get to the colors. CSD’s logo on most of the paperwork and even our business cards featured a blue and silver seal, harkening back to our start with the Dallas Cowboys and our “Cowboybilia.” We chose to keep the blue from that logo, keep the green of a different logo we had (we have had a lot of logos) and ditch the red from our previous corporate logo. Nobody likes red, ok? Some people do, maybe. But not the right people. Just kidding, please don’t be offended.
Moving on. The sans serif font was a pretty easy choice because our company thrives on sports sales for a good portion of the year, whether they be from our e-commerce account or our Home Game Auctions. That brings us to that small cutout in the “D,” which just conveys movement and speed.
So, there you have it. It wasn’t as easy to decide on as just explained, but the main point is, we are super happy with what we’ve got working for us.
